My profound thanks to the lovely folks at NAVA, and the generous Freedman Foundation board for the assistance of a 2012 Freedman Foundation Travelling Scholarship for Emerging Artists.

There’ll be an upcoming exhibition of the 2010 and 2012 Freedman Scholars at Kudos (at COFA) in Sydney early this September… So if you’re in New South Wales, stay tuned for more details!

The timing couldn’t be more helpful, as this year I’ve extended my practice overseas with visual arts residencies in Buenos Aires and Berlin, and I’ll soon head over to Scotland to see what the contemporary art glass community in the UK has to teach me.

I may even have the funds to make a weekend trip to Kassel, to experience Documenta 13… Wonderful!

Thank you to everyone who has helped make these wild hopes of mine possible.
(You know who you are!)
