Interconnectedness, responsive feedback, conversation…
Objects are not static, but influenced by forces and often invisible interactions.

In 100/1, the glass objects are non-functional vessels of liquid and light, tensioned as a field within architectural space and poised between two states: distant remove and direct response. Their position of being-in-the-world becomes evident as the field responds directly to any presence registered in the soundscape of the gallery space.

100/1 attempts to render tangible the transfer of energies constantly at play between object, observer, and environs.

Many thanks to Andy Dinan of [MARS] Melbourne Art Rooms, Port Melbourne, for the opportunity to show this work at full scale.
