March, 2012Zona Imaginaria in San Fernando, Buenos Aires, Argentina
This simple site-specific intervention was a sculptural response to the expressive play of light in the resident’s living space at the studios of Zona Imaginaria, Buenos Aires. Daylight is distorted and refracted onto the floor and ceiling within the space… The natural effects produced by the light change over the course of the day, affected by local weather conditions and the sun’s movement. Exhibited alongside a 100 piece photographic series depicting my research of the particular light-in-space moments happening within this domestic setting.
Approximately 280 ‘Dahi’ glass jars, water, sunlight, steel wire, local water plants, existing architectural framework of window grilles in three domestic windows.
